Navigating the River
How the horizontal flow, scrolling, and card focus work together.
The River flows left to right, with the newest activity typically kept within easy reach and older cards available as you move back through the timeline. Rather than a single continuous scroll, cards are discrete and can be opened, pinned, or acted on individually.
Clicking into a card brings it into focus without losing your place in the surrounding flow, so you can dip into a conversation, take an action, and return to scanning without a full page navigation each time.
