Bot accounts
A dedicated, non-human identity for integrations and automation.
A bot account is a workspace member with its own name, avatar, and API token, intended for automation rather than a person. Messages posted by a bot are visibly attributed to it in the River, so members always know when content came from an integration rather than a colleague.
Bot accounts can be scoped to specific channels and given a permission set independent of any human member, which keeps an integration's access limited to exactly what it needs.
