The difference between workspace roles and channel-level permissions.
Workspace roles control what a member can configure at the organization level: billing, integrations, security settings, and workspace-wide membership. Channel permissions are layered on top and control day-to-day access to individual channels.
Business Plus and Custom plans support fully custom roles, so you can define an access tier that matches your organization's own structure rather than choosing from a fixed set of built-in roles.
